confidence is the stain they can’t wipe off – Lil Wayne Continue reading “Power Posing”

Howdy folks,

As I write this article it’s raining heavily I don’t think this outfit is perfect for this kind of weather but then again it’s a blazer dress so I guess it wouldn’t be so far off right? Its fuchsia embellished with cute gold buttons making it a statement piece so just throw on a trench coat and it will take you from work to formal event and coffee after work. Don’t let the rain dull your sparkle! Continue reading “The Girl in the Pink!”

7 Things Every Woman Should know

April was supposed to be different. There are goals I was hoping to have achieved by the beginning of April and that has made the past few days gloom and unbearable and not just because of the rain. I know some goals require a bit more time and patience but I still beat myself up and felt like a complete failure.one thing I have come to learn about myself is that I love being in control and control is the one thing I don’t have; haven’t had for a while now. Remembering that I need to let go and let God (after bawling my eyes out underneath a blanket for three hours and twenty two minutes) was like a silken scarf wrapping around me and receiving an email from a friend on ‘7 things every woman should know’ gave me a much needed jolt of confidence to get up, dress up and show up. I hope it helps you in one way or the other. Continue reading “7 Things Every Woman Should know”

Meshing and Netting

Hola Beautiful people!

Please grab a cuppa today’s post is a bit longer than usual!
I joined boarding school at a very young age after being tricked into thinking it would be a lot of fun. Well, it wasn’t! Apart from feeling homesick, one of the many things I struggled with was the morning routine; I hated every minute of it especially waking up. We would be woken up at around 5 am by a bell and the dorm captain singing a song that went a little something like this, “Good morning Jesus, Good morning Lord….” Continue reading “Meshing and Netting”

Greet you all,

Lemme start by saying that I now understand why leather pants are a winter staple! The heavy and uncomfortable material can make a heat rash look like a welcome luxury. The idea of wearing leather on a hot day sounds about as delightful as sporting an open-back dress in the dead of winter. Leather is sexy and it’s great for going in and out of air conditioned buildings but you can only tolerate so much heat. This is a look perfect for the cold season when the sun goes down and comes back up months later. Continue reading “L e a t h e r|G r e y”
